His boyish appeal and striking looks made him a very popular model. He is currently the third most successful male model in the world behind Baptiste Giabiconi and Sean O'Pry on models.com list of the Top 50 international male models, as of December 2010.
He started his modelling career at the very young age of 17 by signing with Major Model Management. His very first modelling job was working with veteran photographer Bruce Weber for Vogue.
Although Simon didn't really know what he was getting himself into when he signed on with his mother agency, he’s really grown to appreciate the industry for what it is, and what it has to offer. The experience has been an all around positive one, and he has come a long way personally because of it.
Simon is best known as the current face of Versace and D&G. He has also done editorial campaigns for Givenchy, Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Lanvin, Yves Saint Laurent, Barneys, Gap, Michael Kors and John Galliano.
He has walked in shows for Salvatore Ferragamo, Roberto Cavalli, Tommy Hilfiger, Emporio Armani, Viktor & Rolf, Lacoste, Dsquared, Narciso Rodriguez and Michael Kors and appeared in Vogue Hommes International, Details, V Man, L'Officiel Hommes, Slurp Magazine, Hero Magazine (cover), Numero Homme, The Block Magazine, GQ Italia and GQ Style China among others.
Simon enjoys doing runways but says he could do without the process leading up to it!
He is starring in A|X Armani Exchange Spring 2011 advertising campaign alongside Clara Alonso, Alejandra Alonso, Marlon Teixeira and Francisco Lachowski.
Asked about shooting for brands, Simon feels that it’s not him representing these iconic brands. He just takes a few pictures, and for the next six months it’s those images which represent the brand.
His hobbies include watching Seinfeld, playing basketball, camping and surfing.
He is represented by Major Model Management.
